CONSIDERATION OF A FINAL PLAT FOR SOONER MALL, A REPLAT OF LOT 1, BLOCK 1, AMENDED PLAT OF SOONER FASHION MALL ADDITION AND ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC DEDICATIONS CONTAINED THEREIN. (LOCATED NORTH OF WEST MAIN STREET BETWEEN I-35 RIGHT-OF-WAY AND 36TH AVENUE N.W.)

BACKGROUND:  This item is a final plat of Sooner Mall, Replat of Lot 1, Block 1, Amended Plat of Sooner Fashion Mall Addition, generally located north of West Main Street between the I-35 right-of-way and 36th Avenue N.W.  The final plat consists of 33.47 acres and two lots.  There are no changes for Lot 1.  Lot 2 has been created for Longhorn Steakhouse, an existing restaurant.  The restaurant was originally a lease arrangement.  The City Development Committee, at its meeting June 23, 2020, reviewed and approved the site plan and final plat for Sooner Mall, Replat of Lot 1, Block 1, Amended Plat of Sooner Fashion Mall Addition, and recommended the site plan and final plat be submitted for City Council for consideration.

 

DISCUSSION:  The public improvements are existing.

 

RECOMMENDATION:  Based upon the above information, staff recommends acceptance of the public dedications, approval of the site plan and final plat and filing of the final plat.
