The seating of Mayor Clark creates a vacancy in Ward Six. Mayor Clark asked that interested persons in Ward Six submit applications to be considered by a Ward Six Candidate Selection Committee and City Council. The applicants were interviewed by the Committee and selected Mr. Bill Scanlon. In accordance therewith, the above-described item is submitted for City Council's consideration.
