ADDENDUM NO. ONE TO CONTRACT K-1819-70: BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF NORMAN, OKLAHOMA, AND BALL CLUBS OF NORMAN FOR THE USE OF THE BASEBALL COMPLEX AT REAVES PARK.

BACKGROUND: The Ball Clubs of Norman contract for operation of the youth baseball and softball programs at Griffin Park was approved by City Council on 27 November 2018.
DISCUSSION: The Ball Clubs of Norman has requested from the Norman Parks and Recreation Department usage of the baseball complex and indoor practice faculty located at Reaves Park. The purpose behind the request is to better facilitate the needs of baseball players and leagues for children 12 years and older that need larger ball fields for league game play. The Ball Clubs of Norman will use the indoor practice facility for the purpose giving participants in their leagues access for hitting practice year around.
In an effort to better accommodate the needs of The Ball Clubs of Norman we are recommending Addendum No. One to Contract No. K-1819-70. The proposed Addendum adds the following provisions to the contract:
* The Ball Clubs of Norman will have usage of the baseball facilities at Reaves Park for practice or games.
* The Ball Clubs of Norman will have usage of the indoor baseball/softball practice facility located at Reaves Park.
* The Ball Clubs of Norman shall be responsible for reimbursing the City of Norman for the electricity used on said baseball fields and the indoor practice facility as per contract K-1918-70.
* The Ball Clubs of Norman agrees to be responsible for any necessary maintenance on said baseball fields and the indoor practice facility.
* Term. This addendum shall be in effect for the period of one (1) year and shall renew annually for the duration of Contract Number K-1819-70, upon agreement by both parties.
* This addendum may be terminated at any time in accordance with the terms provided in Contract Number K-1819-70.
