Body

Article II, Sections 5 and 6, of the Charter of the City of Norman provides for the Council to set by resolution every year the dates of the City Council Municipal and City Council Municipal Runoff Elections for the following year.

The filing dates for City Council races begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018 and end Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 5:00 p.m.  The 2019 elections will include Mayor and Wards 1, 3, 5, and 7.  Those candidates elected will take their oath of office and their terms will become effective July 3, 2019.
