EASEMENT E-1718-2: CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF A WATER LINE EASEMENT DONATED BY MCFARLIN MEMORIAL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH FOR T.R. WAGGONER’S FIRST ADDITION.

BACKGROUND: During the approval of a building permit application for McFarlin United Memorial Methodist Church it was determined that public water line improvements along the north side of the alley between Apache Street and Symmes Street were required for fire protection. The water line improvements have been completed and accepted by the City Development Committee. A water line easement is required to cover the public water improvements for future maintenance. A public utility easement for the water line improvements has been submitted by the owners.
DISCUSSION: Public improvements have been be installed and accepted. The public water line easement has been donated by the owners. The City Attorney’s Office has reviewed the easement as to form.
RECOMMENDATION: Based upon the above information, it is the recommendation of staff that Easement E-1718-2 be approved.
