EASEMENT E-1718-1: CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF AN OFFSITE SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT DONATED BY HIGHWAY 9 LAND COMPANY, L.L.C. FOR STONE LAKE ADDITION.

BACKGROUND: The final plat for Stone Lake Addition is generally located on the south side of East Lindsey Street one-quarter mile west of 36th Avenue S.E. With the development of Stone Lake Addition, the Siena Springs Sanitary Sewer Lift Station was removed from service. The owner/developer for Stone Lake Addition is responsible for off-plat sanitary sewer improvements to connect Siena Springs and Stone Lake into the existing Eastridge Addition Sanitary Sewer Lift Station.
DISCUSSION: The required public improvements have been installed as part of the development of Stone Lake Addition and were accepted by the City Development Committee. The plat was filed of record with the Cleveland County Clerk on February 20, 2018. The adjacent property owners have authorized the sanitary sewer easement to accommodate the sewer solution for Stone Lake Addition and effectively for Siena Springs Addition. The public sanitary sewer easement has been donated by the owners. The City Attorney’s Office has reviewed the easement as to form.
RECOMMENDATION: Based upon the above information, it is the recommendation of staff that Easement E-1718-1 be approved.
