BACKGROUNDThe unplatted property is zoned A2 and is located one-half mile north of Tecumseh Road on the east side of 12th Avenue NE.  The property owners have submitted an easement for a sanitary sewer line and lift station easement.

 

DISCUSSIONThe unplatted property is owned by Harvey Michael Cooper, Lynda Ann Luff-Cooper, A.D. Fioroni, and L.G. Fioroni. Public improvements were installed by Ideal Homes, Inc. to serve Red Canyon Ranch Addition and the relocated Park Hill Lift Station. The sewer line and lift station easement have been donated by the owners. The City of Norman Department of Utilities has worked closely with the developer during the design and construction of the new pipeline. The City Attorney’s Office has reviewed the easement as to form.

 

RECOMMENDATIONBased upon the above information, it is the recommendation of staff that Easement E-1617-28 be accepted.
