The resignation of Sereta Wilson created a vacancy in Ward Five. Mayor Clark asked that interested persons in Ward Five submit applications to be considered by a Ward Five Candidate Selection Committee. The minutes are attached for the Ward 5 Selection Committee meetings. The Committee selected Michael Nash as the Interim Ward 5 Councilmember. In accordance therewith, the above-described item is submitted for City Council's consideration.
