CONSIDERATION OF AN AMENDED FINAL SITE DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND AMENDED FINAL PLAT FOR UNIVERSITY NORTH PARK ADDITION, SECTION XIII, AND ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC DEDICATIONS CONTAINED THEREIN.  (GENERALLY LOCATED EAST OF 24TH AVENUE N.W. ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF CONFERENCE DRIVE.

 

Body

BACKGROUNDThis item is an amended final plat for University North Park Addition, Section XIII, a Planned Unit Development and is generally located 250-feet east of 24th Avenue NW and on the south side of Conference Drive.  This proposal consists of 2.71 acres and one (1) commercial lot as a Residence Inn.  The property has been previously platted.  However, it was determined additional land was needed for the scope of the project.  The original plat filed of record dedicated .36 acres of public right-of-way and 2.52 acres within the lot.  Since that time, an additional .19 acres has been added within the amended final plat.  The City Development Committee, at its meeting on December 1, 2017, reviewed and approved the final site development plan and amended final plat for University North Park Addition, Section XIII, a Planned Unit Development and submitted to City Council for consideration.

 

DISCUSSION:  The public improvements are existing.

 

RECOMMENDATIONBased upon the above information, staff recommends acceptance of the public dedications, approvals of the amended final site development plan and amended final plat and the filing of the amended final plat and final site development plan and recommends that the Mayor sign the amended final plat for University North Park Addition, Section XIII, a Planned Unit Development.
