CONSIDERATION OF A FINAL PLAT FOR MILLIGAN INDUSTRIAL TRACT ADDITION AND ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC DEDICATIONS CONTAINED THEREIN. (GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ROCK CREEK ROAD BETWEEN 12TH AVENUE N.W. AND THE RAILROAD TRACKS)
ACTION NEEDED: Motion approve or reject the final plat for Milligan Industrial Tract Addition; and, if approved, accept the public dedications contained within the plat, authorize the Mayor to sign the final plat and subdivision and maintenance bonds subject to the City Development Committee’s acceptance of all required public improvements and receipt of traffic impact fees in the amount of $1,471.12; and direct the filing of the final plat.

BACKGROUND: This item is a final plat for Milligan Industrial Tract Addition and is generally located on the north side of Rock Creek Road between 12th Avenue N.W. and Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) railroad right-of-way. This is a one lot industrial lot consisting of 2.28 acres.
City Council, at its meeting of October 14, 1982, adopted Ordinance No. O-8283-14 placing this property in I-1, Light Industrial zoning district.
City Council, at its meeting of July 10, 2012, approved the revised preliminary plat for Milligan Industrial Tract Addition with exemptions to the Water Quality Protection Zone (WQPZ) and paving requirements for Rock Creek Road. Planning Commission, at its meeting of September 13, 2012, approved the final plat for Milligan Industrial Tract Addition.
DISCUSSION: The public improvements consist of a water line to serve a fire hydrant and a portion of public sidewalk.
The property will utilize a private sanitary sewer system with septic tank and lateral fields.
RECOMMENDATION: The final plat is consistent with the approved revised preliminary plat. Based upon the above information, Staff recommends acceptance of the public dedications contained therein and authorize the Mayor to sign the fi...
