EASEMENT E-1617-20: CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF A PERMANENT UTILITY AND DRAINAGE EASEMENT DONATED BY CARROLL FARM, L.L.C., FOR CARROLL FARM ADDITION, SECTION 1.

BACKGROUND: The final plat for Carroll Farm Addition, Section 1 was approved by City Council on November 8, 2016. The property is zoned as PUD and is located on the west side of Journey Parkway and just north of Tecumseh Road. The property owners have submitted an easement for utility and drainage easements.
DISCUSSION: Public improvements were installed as part of the subdivision development for Carroll Farm Addition, Section 1, and were accepted by the Development Committee on December 27, 2016. The plat was filed of record in the Cleveland County Clerk’s office on December 28, 2016. The utility and drainage easements have been donated by the owners. The City Attorney’s Office has reviewed the easement as to form.
RECOMMENDATION: Based upon the above information, Staff recommends acceptance of Easement E-1617-20.
