EASEMENT E-1516-2: CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF A PERMANENT DRAINAGE EASEMENT DONATED BY MONTEREY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY L.L.C. FOR THE MONTEREY II ADDITION.

BACKGROUND: The final plat for Monterey II Addition was filed of record on May 13, 2015 with the Cleveland County Clerk. The property consists of 55 residential lots totaling +/-13.054 acres which are located just south of Cedar Lane and east of 12th Ave. S.E. The final plat was approved by City Council on May 12, 2015. The property owners have submitted easements for utilities & drainage located outside of the referenced platted areas for Monterey II Addition.
DISCUSSION: Off plat utilities and drainage improvements have been installed as part of the Monterey II development. The Legal Department has reviewed the easements as to form.
RECOMMENDATION: Based upon the above information, it is the recommendation of staff that Easement Nos. E-1516-1, E-1516-2, E-1516-3, E-1516-4, E-1516-5, E-1516-6, and E-1516-7 to be utilized for utility and drainage be approved.
