EASEMENT E-1516-2:  CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF A PERMANENT DRAINAGE EASEMENT DONATED BY MONTEREY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY L.L.C. FOR THE MONTEREY II ADDITION.

BACKGROUND:  The final plat for Monterey II Addition was filed of record on May 13, 2015 with the Cleveland County Clerk. The property consists of 55 residential lots totaling +/-13.054 acres which are located just south of Cedar Lane and east of 12^th Ave. S.E. The final plat was approved by City Council on May 12, 2015. The property owners have submitted easements for utilities & drainage located outside of the referenced platted areas for Monterey II Addition.

DISCUSSION: Off plat utilities and drainage improvements have been installed as part of the Monterey II development.  The Legal Department has reviewed the easements as to form.

RECOMMENDATION:  Based upon the above information, it is the recommendation of staff that Easement Nos. E-1516-1, E-1516-2, E-1516-3, E-1516-4, E-1516-5, E-1516-6, and E-1516-7 to be utilized for utility and drainage be approved.
