In accordance with Article II, Section 19, of the Charter of the City of Norman, Oklahoma, the Council shall elect one of the Councilmembers to be Mayor Pro Tem of the City of Norman to serve for a term of one year and until his successor is likewise elected. Councilmember Chad Williams who served as Mayor Pro Tem resigned on August 19, 2014, and this meeting will be his last City Council Meeting.  The above-described item appears on City Council's agenda in order to provide opportunity for the election of a Mayor Pro Tem.
