BACKGROUND:  This item is a final plat for a replat of Lot 11, Block 2, Flaming Oaks Estates Addition and is located at 1108 Flaming Oaks Drive (northeast corner of the intersection of 60th Avenue S.E. and East Lindsey Street).  City Council, at its meeting of August 1, 1972, adopted Ordinance No. O-7172-10 placing this property in the RE, Residential Estates District. City Council, at its meeting of February 25, 2014, approved the preliminary plat for a Replat of Lot 11, Block 2, Flaming Oaks Estates Addition.  This property consists of 8.12 acres and three (3) single family residential lots.  Lot 11A is 3.3 acres, Lot 12 is 2.8 acres and Lot 13 is 2.0 acres.
 
The City Development Committee, on February 26, 2014, approved and recommended the final plat of a replat for Lot 11, Block 2, Flaming Oaks Estates Addition be submitted to City Council for consideration.  
 
DISCUSSION:  There are no public improvements required.  The property owners will contribute to the maintenance of the private road.
 
STAFF RECOMMENDATION:  The final plat is consistent with the approved preliminary plat.  Based on the above information, staff recommends acceptance of the public dedications and approval and filing of the final plat.
