CERTIFICATE OF PLAT CORRECTION CPC-1920-1: FOR HIGHLAND VILLAGE ADDITION, SECTION 7, LOTS 7, 8, 14, & 15, BLOCK 3.

 

Body

BACKGROUND:  The final plat for Highland Village Addition, Section 7, including Lots 7 and 8 and Lots 14 and 15, Block 3, was filed of record December 17, 2013 with the Cleveland County Clerk in Book 23 of Plats, Pages 142 and 143.  Since that time, it has been determined that certain scrivener's or draftsman’s errors have been found within the plat relating to the dimensions of these lots.  Title 11 O.S. §41-115 permits or provides a method of amending or correcting scrivener’s errors on final plats, subject to the governing body of a City approving such changes.

 

DISCUSSION:  The specific errors relates to lot dimensions as shown in Attachment “A”.  It impacts only these lots within the plat.

 

RECOMMENDATION:  Staff is not opposed to the changes, and since a procedure has been established without the requirement for District Court action, Staff recommends City Council approval of Certificate of Plat Correction No. CPC-1920-1 for the above-mentioned addition.
