CONSIDERATION OF A FINAL PLAT FOR NEELY ACRES ADDITION AND ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC DEDICATIONS CONTAINED THEREIN. (GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EAST FRANKLIN ROAD AND ONE-QUARTER MILE WEST OF 48TH AVENUE N.E.)

BACKGROUND:  This item is a final plat for Neely Acres generally located on the south side of East Franklin Road approximately one-quarter mile west of 48th Avenue N.E.  City Council, at its meeting of October 13, 2015, adopted Ordinance O-1516-4 placing this property in the A-1, General Agricultural District.  Also, City Council at its same meeting approved the preliminary plat for Neely Acres Addition with waiver of deferral of street improvements in connection with Franklin Road.  This property consists of 3.28 acres and one (1) single family residential lot.

 

The City Development Committee, on December 23, 2015, approved and recommended the final plat Neely Acres Addition be submitted to City Council for consideration. 

 

DISCUSSION:  There are no public improvements required. 

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION:  The final plat is consistent with the approved preliminary plat.  Based on the above information, staff recommends acceptance of the public dedications and approval and filing of the final plat.
