In accordance with Section 14-201 of the Code of the City of Norman, the above-described item appears on City Council's agenda in order that the reappointments of David Poarch as Presiding Judge, Gail Blaylock and Drew Nichols as Associate Judges, and Christi Chesley as Acting Judge of the Municipal Criminal Court each for a term beginning July 1, 2014, and ending June 30, 2016, may be confirmed. City Council, in its meeting of May 27, 2014, acknowledged receipt of the nominations and scheduled the confirmation of the reappointments on the June 10, 2014, agenda.
