EASEMENT E-1617-8: CONSIDERATION OF ACCEPTANCE OF A PERMANENT WATER LINE EASEMENT DONATED BY BRIDGESTONE RETAIL OPERATIONS, L.L.C., TO SERVE LOT 9A, BLOCK 1, UNIVERSITY NORTH PARK ADDITION, SECTION VI.

BACKGROUND: The final plat for University North Park, Sec VI was filed of record on July 30, 2008 and Lot Line Adjusted including Lot 9A on November 6, 2015 (per LLA #1525) with both documents being filed of record at the Cleveland County Clerk’s Office. The property is Zoned as PUD and is located on the west side of 24th Ave. NW and just north of Conference Drive. The property owners have submitted an easement for a water line easement.
DISCUSSION: Public improvements were installed as part of the subdivision development for University North Park, Sec VI. Subsequently, when Lot 9A was created per LLA #1525, an additional separate instrument was needed for the owner to install a public water line for facade coverage by the Fire Department. The easement has been donated by the owners. The City Attorney’s Office has reviewed the easement as to form.
RECOMMENDATION: Based upon the above information, it is the recommendation of staff that Easement E-1617-8 utilized for water line be approved.
